This was to be my year of technology and learning to play the flute. I mastered neither. Lofty goals they were. Friends smarter than I consoled me with multiple validating reasons how failure is acceptable and not representative of my character. I spend much of my time navigating the unexpected. So I’ve known for quite a while that the best laid plans often aren’t all that meaningful after all. It comes as no surprise to me that the unexpected events of 2014 have provided renewed focus, fortified old and new relationships and generated great happiness. They’ve also redirected us a time or two and to our great advantage.
We didn’t accomplish everything we set out at the beginning of the year to do, but that’s because we were so delightfully busy. I’ve accepted that it isn’t the end of the world if I don’t understand HTML.
So onward and forward we go. We have new goals and plans for 2015. While all of them are realistic, the list may simply be too robust to acquire completion this time next year. So we shall see.
Thanks to all you have stayed with us, thanks to all who retained us for projects and thanks in advance to those of you who will continue to support us as we continue moving forward, growing and embracing the unknown.
Happy New Year!
